Story
During a visit to the Isle of May, I was captivated by a puffin standing quietly among the grass. Its vivid beak and striking plumage caught the light against the shadowed green background and stayed with me. In this painting, I aimed to capture that moment, the quiet presence of the bird, the subtle textures of its feathers, and the contrast that makes it feel almost alive against the darker grass. Painting it allowed me to slow down and really observe its character, from the curious tilt of its head to the intensity in its eye. I wanted to create a piece that invites you to pause and connect with the sense of stillness and wonder I experienced on the cliffs.

Due to the limited nature of this item there will be no cash refunds available on this product, the only available option is credit towards another artwork only with the shipping return paid by the customer. If the item is damaged on arrival to you, a full refund will be given via the original payment method and collection for the damaged artwork arranged.
