Last light is a painting inspired by my very own cat Buzz and, I guess, cats in general who make it their life's mission to find any form of sunbeam to relax in. During the last golden hour beam of the day, this big cat is soaking it in before night approaches. I adore black leopards with their incredible melanistic coats still showcasing their classic magnificent rosette patterned spots and wanted to capture that in this painting.
