Story
I spotted this jay deep within the woods, just as the light broke through the trees and caught its feathers in a flash of colour. For a brief moment it paused on a branch, wings half-open, ready to take flight. That fleeting second of stillness before motion became the spark for this painting.
Jays are such striking birds, often hidden among the trees until the light catches them. I wanted to capture that moment of energy and grace, with the soft blur of the dark woodland around it hinting at the movement and mystery of its world.
This artwork is about those rare moments in nature where time seems to stop - when a single bird, a flicker of light, and a quiet forest come together in perfect balance.

If you neglect to address customs inquiries regarding import duties and taxes relevant to your shipment, resulting in the package being returned to us, the customer assumes responsibility for covering the associated shipping charges to resend it.
Due to the limited nature of this item there will be no cash refunds available on this product, the only available option is credit towards another artwork only with the shipping return paid by the customer. If the item is damaged on arrival to you, a full refund will be given via the original payment method and collection for the damaged artwork arranged.
